“A Night at the Tank Stream Hotel with Hotels.com”
I worked with Hotels.com throughout 2017 and had a blast, so when the brand reached out once again I couldn’t resist jumping on board. I was invited to stay in the heart of Sydney at the Tank Stream Hotel, taking in the treats of the hotel and joining in for the opening of the hotel’s new dining concept, Dave’s Deli.
Living on the Northern Beaches it’s always so lovely to spend actual time in the city, as I’m normally just in an out for work. The great thing about Tank Stream Hotel is their ‘one-rate’ concept which includes a complimentary non-alcoholic mini-bar, in-room entertainment and free, unlimited Wi-Fi – such a bonus if you’re travelling for work and definitely something not many hotels include!
Located on the corner of Pitt and Hunter Streets in Sydney, the Tank Stream Hotel is super convenient. Whether you are staying for business or pleasure (or bleisure, like me!), there’s a great range of restaurants, activities and train stations to get you anywhere you need. Just around the corner from Pitt Street Mall, all your shopping needs are taken care of, and Circular Quay is a short stroll if you fancy some fine dining by the water with an awesome view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.
Dave’s Deli is a Malaysian “fine fast food” concept that will replace the usual lunch hours of the hotel’s French bistro style Le Petit Flot restaurant. Dave’s Deli opens for lunch weekdays while Le Petit Flot restaurant will still open for dinner every day except Sunday – meaning you can grab a super affordable and delicious lunch in the luxury of Le Petit Flot seatings (game over for inner city food courts).
It’s always amazing to be invited to treat myself with companies like Hotels.com and Tank Stream Hotel, and this time was no different.
They made me feel very welcome, the service was incredible and I’ll be sure to revisit and stay again!

February 2, 2018 at 12:40 amHi Nathan,
Love your blogs btw!
This was such a great read, I have heard about this place and knowing that you have been there I’ll definitely check it out. My Family comes to Sydney often so it’s nice to find a place that looks after their guest and had a beautiful atmosphere.
Keep up the great work.
Thank you.
