I Stepped Inside Dior Sauvage House Before It Opened to the Public

There is something quite special about getting to experience a space before the doors officially open.

The Thursday before Dior Beauty welcomed the public into Sauvage House, I was lucky enough to step inside and experience the immersive pop-up celebrating the launch of Sauvage Extrait, the newest and most intense interpretation of the iconic Sauvage fragrance.

For three days only, from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th August, Sauvage House transformed into a space dedicated entirely to the world of Dior Sauvage. While the pop-up weekend has now come and gone, I still wanted to share a little look inside because it was such a unique experience and one I was genuinely excited to be invited to.

From the moment I walked in, it was more than just a fragrance launch. The experience explored the world behind the Sauvage collection, from the inspiration and craftsmanship to the exceptional raw materials that make each fragrance its own.

Guided by a Dior Fragrance Expert, I had the chance to learn more about the Sauvage collection and the newest addition, Sauvage Extrait, composed by Francis Kurkdjian, Dior’s Perfume Creative Director.

What I loved most was the personalised element of the experience. It wasn’t simply about walking through a beautiful space and trying a fragrance. I was able to take part in a one-on-one fragrance consultation, exploring the different Sauvage creations and finding out which one best suited me.

For guests who booked the full experience across the weekend, Dior Beauty also offered a Sauvage Grooming Experience, led by renowned Australian men’s groomer Fernnando Miranda and his expert team. The personalised service was designed around each guest’s individual hair, beard and personal style, with grooming, skincare and styling all part of the experience.

I think that’s what I enjoyed most about my visit to Sauvage House. Dior managed to create something that felt immersive and elevated, while still making the experience feel personal.

Getting to see it before the public stepped inside made it even more special. It was calm, considered and gave me the chance to properly take in every part of the experience before what I’m sure was a very busy weekend.

The doors may have only been open for three days, but Sauvage House was a beautiful way to celebrate the next chapter of one of Dior Beauty’s most recognisable fragrance collections.
